Yes, you can use the silver UP and DOWN buttons on the right-side of the
thermostat to temporarily adjust the target temperature higher or lower than the scheduled target temperature. The adjusted temperature degree will reflect on the thermostat screen just to the right of the current indoor temperature. The temperature
will adjust by a single-degree if you are using the Fahrenheit scale (and by
0.5 degree if Celsius) for each button push.
In addition, a temporary adjustment to the target temperature on the thermostat will cause a "Hold" message to reflect on the left hand side of the thermostat screen, just under the Fan Mode.
When the next scheduled temperature change occurs, the thermostat will revert to the target temperature scheduled for that time and the "Hold" message will disappear.
