The thermostat has three options for HVAC system operation:
- OFF - This means that both heating and cooling systems are turned off.
- COOL - This means that the cooling system is active (Applies only to homes with an active cooling system)
- HEAT- This means the heating system is active
To change the Mode:
- Press "Menu"
- "Mode", "Fan", and "Support" should appear on the screen
- A black arrow should appear in front of "Mode"
- Press the "Select" button. The current HVAC mode, "Heat", "Cool", or "Off" should highlight.
- Then, press the silver down arrow to locate the desired Mode.
- The revised Mode is saved automatically.
- The new Mode will reflect on the thermostat screen just to the right of the current indoor temperature.
